Before you trust someone with the biggest sale of your life, it is fair that you want to know who they actually are. Not the corporate bio. The real version.
So here it is. Ten questions, the honest answers.
1. How long have you been in real estate and what keeps you in it?
I started in 2007, so that is 18+ years in real estate. What keeps me here is the people. Every campaign is a real family making a real decision, and being trusted with that never gets old.
2. What do you do differently from other agents?
I tell people the truth, even when it is uncomfortable. If your home is not ready, I will say so. If your price expectation is too high, I will say so. Vendors do not need another cheerleader, they need a straight answer.
3. What is the most memorable result you have ever achieved?
An older couple who were ready to walk away from selling because they thought the market had turned. We ran a tight auction campaign and finished about $200,000 above what they expected. They cried at the contract signing. That one sits with me.
4. What do you do when a campaign is not going the way you wanted?
I pick up the phone. No hiding, no spin. I sit with the vendor, walk through the data, talk through what we have learned from the open homes, and we agree on the next move together. The worst thing you can do is go quiet.

5. Is there a lesson that changed how you work?
Early in my career an older bloke walked into an auction in shorts and a singlet. I almost dismissed him. He ended up being the buyer. Since then I treat every single person at an open home like the buyer, because you genuinely never know.
6. What drives you outside of real estate?
Family first, my faith, and training. I do boxing and Muay Thai a few times a week. The discipline keeps me sharp and the gym is the one place my phone has to go on silent.
7. Why Ray White Rochedale, why not go independent?
The Ray White network gives my vendors access to the Ray White buyer network, an AI buyer matching system, and the credibility of a global brand. Going independent would mean my sellers lose all of that. I would rather give them more, not less.
8. How did you get your start in real estate?
I lost my job two months before my wedding. I was driving home thinking how do I tell my fiancée. My mum rang me out of nowhere and said something will work out. Within a week I had started a small commercial cleaning franchise to pay the bills, and within months I had my real estate licence. My first listing sold in 48 hours and I have not looked back.
9. What does a great result mean to you, beyond the price?
A great result is a vendor who would call me first if they ever sold again, and a buyer who feels like they were treated fairly. The price matters, but the relationship is what builds a career.
10. What would a past client say about you that might surprise people?
Probably that I am calmer in person than I look in the marketing photos. I do not do pressure. I do honest conversations and a properly run campaign. The rest tends to look after itself.
If any of that resonates and you would like a no-pressure conversation about your own home, the easiest way is to book a free appraisal at junaidally.com/appraisal or call me on 0410 218 499. I will come to you, walk through the home, and give you an honest read of where it sits in today's market.
